My creative path has been crooked. And I'm okay with that.
In a past-life I worked as a writer—I got paid to write everything from web copy to poetry. I even had a job writing horoscopes. No, I couldn't really predict the future. But people believed I could. Success.
Six years ago I rechanneled my creative energy into graphic design. I started out managing the design production of Martha Stewart's Body+Soul magazine and for the past three years I've designed print and digital media for an international travel company. Designing for the travel industry has taken me all over the world, both literally and figuratively. Most recently on an African safari. Yes, I'm a lucky girl.
Last year I took ownership of a niche segment of our travel demographic, and began honing the branding and customer experience of this burgeoning part of our audience. This dynamic of my job has fulfilled parts of me that I never knew needed fulfilling.
As a worker, I'm resourceful, entrepreneurial, empathetic and passionate. And I like to think I'm pretty fun, too.
I'm always hungry for new opportunities, ideas, and feedback, so please
get in touch.
